This page says that "Emergence BASIC (EBASIC) is a full featured 32 bit compiler for the Windows™ and Linux operating systems. Creates small, fast executables and DLL's. Emergence BASIC supports both procedural and OOP style programming".
But when i download demo, only windows binary is available.
I know your market share for linux is pretty minimal, but hard to see how to increase it, if no demo available for *nix too
Or im i blind here once again?

I'm not sure he finished the linux version. I know he was or is in development of a linux version though.
You might have to head on over to Paul's forums to ask since he says he doesn't come here anymore.

Yeah, was not expecting it to be free, but wont pay a dime until i can get good testruns. But since it seems like linux is "maybe" issue here, ill skip this and move to next dialect nominee.

Well, uber easy usually costs, and the more uber easy, the more it might costs... Revolution is uber easy but costs a healthy price. Have you tried Jabaco yet? Drawback is that the IDE is currently windows only. But it produces java programs that will run on almost any java capable machine. It's syntax and concept is Visual Basic like and can import Visual Basic 6 source files. If you're familiar with Visual Basic, then Jabaco would likely be uber easy for you and it is free.

There should be a few threads on the forums here regarding Jabaco if you want to give those a read before trying out Jabaco.

Yeah, jabaco is familiar name, but never tested it. Last time i checked, only windows executable was offered to download, so i leaved in peace from there Anyway, ill go and recheck the site.
[edit] Yep, must to use wine to use jabaco. Nah, ill skip to next one

yeah, that's the only drawback... and I'm not sure if he's going to eventually setup a linux ide or not. would be nice if he did.

I suggest you contact Paul directly. He does have a Linux version of the compiler in beta form, and a few people have been playing around with it.
